These stone ginger beer bottles are similar although 015 (far left has 'East Branches' at the bottom. All are stamped 'James Dunbar' on the bottom.
The bottles were made in Portobello. 015 and 017 are stamped 'Buchan' '07' and 016 is '06'.
Marble-top bottles
These bottles have marble stoppers. Such bottles are apparently commonly referred to as 'cod bottles'. 018 (left) says 'Dunbars' at the top. 019 says 'James Dunbar' and has an unusual picture of what is presumably equipment used in the manufacturing process. It shows a still or condenser. It does not actually say where in Edinburgh it is from - Maryfield or Albion Road or elsewhere - but has been presented here with Maryfield bottles. 018 has no significant markings on its back whereas 019 says 'Richd Cooper & Co makers Portobello'.
