These bottles have slight differences. 006 (left) has its original 'James Dunbar ltd, Edinburgh 46' metal top whereas 007 (right) has a plastic top. At the bottom of the table, 006 says 'British Syphon Co. London'. This is horizontal. Meanwhile 007 says 'British Syphon Company limited' and that is written on either side of the tip of markings below'Edinburgh'.
Both bottles say 'James Dunbar's prize medal aerated waters'.
Ginger Beer bottles
The content on these ginger beer bottles is identical although there is variation in the positioning of the text and dark brown top. It is thought they are some of the oldest Albion Road bottles as they are so similar to the Maryfield ones and are therefore thought to be around 1910s. Both have 'James Dunbar' stamped on the bottom.
008 (left) still has its stopper.
Flagon: large stone bottle with stone top which may say "patent applied for". The flagon has a tap and possibly sat on shop counters rather than in domestic settings.
